'His Wife Her Zine (Zine page 10)' A2 Archival Print
Now on display as part of the ‘Memory, Time and Country’ at Kingston Arts Centre, a beautiful group exhibition also featuring ENOKi (Darcy McConnell) and Madi (Ghostgum).
Driving to my dad’s small hometown, I was struck by how tall the trees were there, how green even though it was well into autumn. Hugging each side of the road and, in my memory, leaning so terribly they might have collapsed and buried us right there.
I looked at them with fresh eyes, jetlagged but wide awake. Later, on the phone, I mention how beautiful they all are. My dad sees things differently.
I hope we’ll go together one of these days, one of these years.
Digital illustration printed on beautiful archival quality Canson Rag Photographique 310gsm paper by Hound & Bone in Brunswick.
