Originally displayed as part of the ‘Memory, Time and Country’ at Kingston Arts Centre in 2025, a beautiful group exhibition also featuring ENOKi (Darcy McConnell) and Madi (Ghostgum).
Of the collection my grandma lent me, this illustration is based on one of the few photographs of me and my mum together. I can’t see her face but I can imagine it. She playfully pulls my ears and I stare back. On our couch in our home, though now I’m not sure where that is or who’s living there today.
